Pat Lewis, a realistic watercolorist, was born in Hollidaysburg, PA. where she was married and busy raising her four children. Her free time was spent on a variety of creative projects. After all of her children were in school, she attended workshops in oils. She moved to Fort Wayne in 1965 still devoting most of her art work to oils. Pat had always been interested in watercolors and began to explore the medium by studying art books. When she decided that watercolor was her favorite medium, she took classes from local artists and workshops sponsored by the Fort Wayne Artists Guild, Inc.
Pat has received numerous awards from her juried and judged exhibits. She also accepts commissioned works, which keep her busy and challenged.
Pat enjoys painting a variety of subjects but florals have the most significant impact.
