Hi, my name is Renata Pancner.

I was born in 1963 in Prague, Czech Republic. I studied there at the Belohorska University of Art and Holar's University of Art. I worked for 7 years as a designer in what used to be Prague's department store "Kotva." Then, in 1989, I followed my husband to Fort Wayne IN.

My paintings are contemporary landscapes and figurative compositions. I often connect both themes.

I am an oil painter. I like it's shine, blending ability and mixing new shades of color. Sometimes I use modeling paste to increase backgound interest or to create 3-dimensional textures such as stone, wood, bricks and so on.

As you probably noticed from my photo, I like fun and the work of genius painter Salvador Dali. Even though I think that my paintings are not influenced by his surrealistic style. I find inspiration in nature, in the beauty of the human body and in endless fantasy of human dreaming and imagination.
