JUNE 2-30: "A Slice of Life: Oil & Acrylic Paintings by Sarah Creason" and "Pottery by Tom Sherbondy"
"A Slice of Life" by Sarah Creason, oil and acrylic paintings depicting various aspects of everyday life at work and play...paintings telling a story. Sarah has fought cancer numerous times throughout her life and lost her arm a few years ago. What she didn't lose was her sense of humor! She now jokes that she is the "one arm painter". She says "I wish to encourage people to create no matter what their situation...handicapped people need inspiration and encouragement. The Orchard Gallery has supported me in this rocky path I have walked...through the good and the bad."
For nearly 40 years, Tom Sherbondy has been studying with a variety of significant potters & has developed his own technique for glazes and texture, form and function. Tom has taught in several studios, two of which he built and ran & is currently at TekVenture. Tom will be at the gallery 2-4pm each Saturday in June to meet customers and discuss his work.
OPEN: Monday through Saturday 11am-4pm (Abbreviated hours in June)
